Burning Pandaren Spirit – Master Tamer
Continuing with our Pandaren Spirit Tamers, this month we’re taking on the Burning Pandaren Spirit out on the coastline of Townlong Steppes.
I did not start out to make this a one-pet strategy. However, it turns out that the Anubisath Idol is quite capable of taking on the whole team! You just have to plan your Deflections properly and keep up Stoneskin and it’s quite doable. I am going to list the whole team I took with me, as RNG does happen, and it’s better to be prepared with a full team.
My Team | |||
Pet | Ability 1 | Ability 2 | Ability 3 |
---|---|---|---|
Anubisath Idol H/H | Crush | Stoneskin | Deflection |
Silkbead Snail H/S | Ooze Touch | Shell Shield | Dive |
Nether Faerie Dragon S/B | Arcane Blast | Life Exchange | Moonfire |
Burning Pandaren Spirit’s Team | |||
Pet | Ability 1 | Ability 2 | Ability 3 |
---|---|---|---|
Crimson P/S | Breath | Cyclone | Lift-Off |
Pandaren Fire Spirit P/S | Conflagrate | Immolate | Cauterize |
Glowy S/B | Swarm | Confusing Sting | Glowing Toxin |
Moves to watch out for: Lift-Off, Conflagrate and Swarm.
Lift-off and Conflagrate can be avoided with Deflection, Swarm can be blocked with Stoneskin (very helpful). Should your Anubisath Idol die, bring in your Silkbead Snail and you can use Dive in place of Deflection and Shell Shield in place of Stoneskin. If he also dies, the remaining opponent(s) should be low enough that you can just pew-pew them down. However, keep an eye on your health, and if you start getting too low, use your Life Exchange (as long as your opponent has higher health than you, of course). But, like I said, I was able to do it with just my Anubisath Idol.

So there you have it! One pet, three kills.
