To start your quests in Legion for the Highmountain Tribe, naturally, it’s a good idea to go ahead and have the plan of getting Ain’t No Mountain High Enough, which will nicely familiarize yourself with the zone.
We’ll be paying a visit to Ransa Greyfeather once at Revered for the Baby Elderhorn.
If that’s all you’re here for, it’s pretty straightforward in Legion to complete the emissaries and eventually hit Revered (or Exalted if you want the tabard or Paragon rewards.)
The paragon reward from the Highmountain Tribe is the Elderhorn. Y’all wanted another moose mount, right? I haven’t been lucky enough to get one yet, but may the odds be ever in your favor.
Other items of interest out in Highmountain though include finding Crispin which is dropped by Tenpak Flametotem. If you can fly at this point in Legion, the closest flight point to this guy is ‘The Witchwood’. If you don’t have flight, 43 31 are the Highmountain coordinates to get up to the plateau that this guy patrols.
Aviana hides a toy that I have yet to successfully get myself. The Emerald Winds. It’s a smart quest, so don’t think you’ll get this by flying through the orbs or taking a druid flight form.
There’s a glider available in Highmountain as well! The Rocfeather Skyhorn Kite. The comments section over on Wowhead does a great job of outlining how to get it so I’ll send you off in their direction.
I always forget about the Majestic Elderhorn Hoof because that darn moose harasses my alts as I level through Highmountain at this point. Cymre’s post on that blog helped remind me as I googled for “Highmountain rares” to try to remember where Crispin was.
Be sure to turn on your pet tracking as you venture forth in Highmountain too! May as well work on your Broken Isles Safari while you’re out here!
