Classy Leveling Grand Event - 2021 Year Long!

Introduction

The A3 Team would really love to have the 8th bank tab for our main guild. While this is not a long-term solution to adoptions and storage, we've always wanted to complete our main bank. We're asking for your help in completing this achievement: Stay Classy. We have some fun prizes to reward for your efforts!

How To Participate

Level a character (or characters) for the guild!

We have a sign-up sheet available so that you can choose what you want to level from our needs list. Level to 60 and achieve Honored reputation to check your class/race combo off the list. Members who actively participate in this effort will have a chance to win some great prizes each month until the achievement is completed.

Boosted characters will get full credit from level 1 to 50.

Defining Active Participation

We've come up with a simple formula for determining how many levels count as active participation. Using this formula will create a month-to-month percentage goal that is dynamic by adjusting activity expectations according to how many people help, and how many levels they obtained as a group.

Example
8 participants managed 96 levels for this first month. To qualify for prizes, you would need 8.3% participation in that, or about
8 levels total for the entire month.

Note: This is subject to change if this doesn't work out well by the end of our first complete test in February.

Joining At A Higher Level?

All leveling credit has started with levels obtained starting on January 20th, but we still want to reward you for bringing in higher-level toons to help us out! For every 5 levels your character already has at the time they join the guild, we will reward you 1 level toward the participation counter.

For example, if you were already level 60 when you join for this event, you will still earn 12 levels of participation credit.

This will count for characters that have been boosted, transferred, faction swapped, or guild swapped. Make sure to let @Jedikitten know if any of these circumstances apply to you and what level the character was when they joined the guild.

This does not apply to members boosting from level 1 (see above).

Choosing Winners

At the end of the month, the numbers will be tallied. Members who actively participated in the effort will be put into a drawing for a chance to win some prizes. A winner will be drawn at random.

How are winners randomly drawn?

Everyone who actively participates will have their names added to the entries list alphanumerically. At the end of the month, the winner will be drawn using A3's random winner generator (RWG) powered by Random.org.

From this point, we will once again assess where we are in terms of progress. If we need to add additional months and prizes we will. If we are finished by this point, we will have a big giveaway for everyone who helped during the year!

Leveling By Proxy

We understand that not everyone enjoys actually leveling alts, but maybe you enjoy helping others in their leveling adventures? We have a great option for you to still get in on the fun! If you help other members level their characters, you will be granted the same amount of level credit at the person you have helped.

There are a few really great ways to do this:

Lunar Festival 02/05/2021 to 02/19/2021
Lunar Festival - Flying passenger mount recommended.
During the Lunar Festival, players can visit ghostly Elders located throughout Azeroth and Northrend to give their respects and honor their ancestor's spirit. In return, the Elder will reward the player with reputation and Coin of Ancestry, and lots of experience!

Midsummer Fire Festival 06/21/2021 to 07/05/2021
Midsummer Fire Festival - Flying passenger mount recommended.
The Midsummer Fire Festival is a time of merryment and festivities celebrating the hottest season of the year! Festival bonfires are lit around all of Azeroth and Outland and players can travel to each to honor (or desecrate) their flames, and earn lots of experience during the process.

Hallow's End 10/18/2021 to 11/01/2021
Hallow's End - Flying passenger mount recommended.
Hallow's End is a spooky celebration of the Forsaken breaking away from the Scourge. This holiday is celebrated all across Azeroth with trick-or-treating, apple bobbing and more! Trick-or-treating earns a lot of experience.

Dungeon Quests
Dungeon List - Flying passenger mount recommended.
While experience from killing mobs during a dungeon carry isn't great, the experience for completing the quests is pretty great. We recommend doing this with a rested lowbie so that you earn double experience and quick levels!

Getting Credit
You will need to keep track of what level the lowbie you are helping is starting at, and the level that you stop at. To get credit for this, please use the following form and send it to @Jedikitten.

If you do find yourself doing this sort of event leveling, A3 really needs some more of these pets! We have a great Donation Drive that you can submit the pets for here.

You also have access to full guild repairs from the guild bank. We encourage you to use them.

Got Junk?

Did you wind up with a bunch of random stuff while leveling? Armor/weapons, crafting mats, pets, everything else? Feel free to forward all of this to Wakamaru-Bladefist and she will auction them off to add funds back to the guild bank! Battle Pets will be donated to the adoption pool.

FAQ

Q: How do I use Chromie Time?
A: You will need to complete the Welcome to Zandalar achievement by completing these quests:

1. Welcome To Zuldazar
2. Rastakhan
3. Speaker of the Horde

After this, you can return to Orgrimmar and talk to Chromie to change your leveling expansion.

You can pick the quests up at level 10+.

Q: How do I queue for Classic dungeons?
A: Set your Chromie time to "Cataclysm".

Q: If I choose one expansion, can I play with a guild member in another expansion?
A: Yes, you just need to group up and use the Party Sync option in your quest log! This will also work for dungeons.

Looking to skip the start of expansion scenarios here are a couple tips.

WoD. Grab the quest to go to the dark portal, when you get there don’t talk to kadgar but drop the quest. Go thru the portal and you will be at the start of the garrison building.

Legion: once you start the assault on broken shore scenario exit the group, you will be back in front of the guy in the wolf. Talk to him and say you have seen it before and you will go to legion dal.

BFA once you meet your team in the inn don’t take the quest just talk to Nathanos and say you have see it before and jump to zandalar. ( if you take the quest you can drop it and nathanos will reappear and you can skip).
