Year 4, Issue #30
The pre-patch has launched and not a few bugs have been unearthed. If you want some insight into why it has been such a disaster of a patch day, make sure you check out the Q&A from last Thursday. You can find the video embedded in our News segment. If you're just looking for information on the server outages from patch day, then you only need to watch the first few minutes. Personally, I recommend watching the whole thing, as further into the Q&A they also touch on issues that have cropped up from the iLevel squish, as well as other important issues such as alternate artifact forms for druids, and Hati.
I always find the Q&As informative, myself. They give a glimpse of insight into decisions the developers make, what they're aiming for and, of course, what issues they find along the way. What is said in the Q&As isn't always what we as players want to hear, but hearing why a decision was made, at least, makes things understandable, even if I still don't agree.
You will also find in this newsletter an article linking to our newly established A3 communities. While we do not intend to replace Discord as our main chat interface, we are also aware that there are those of us who find it easier to communicate through the Battle.net groups feature. With the Community features expanding this, it only makes sense to reach out through this new medium. It will also be extremely helpful for setting up groups when you want to go get done that one thing you've been putting off for ages.
I hope to see you all in game!
