Post by Wakamaru » February 1st, 2016, 10:43 pm

Hey Everyone!

Does anyone else use/collect on Dragon Cave? Figured I'd poke my head in and ask :P

Thanks,
Waka

I used to be on it all the time but the way I got all my views stopped working (I don't even remember what website) so I've long since stopped. I'd love to get back into it

I used to collect a few years ago and then wondered away from it. I just started again around Christmas. I was thinking about popping a thread up around here for views/trades if there were others. Currently I use:

Daily Dragon Fix http://leviathan.thorngale.net/account.php (requires registration but I love it)
The Allure of Neglected Dragons http://www.allureofnds.net/

If I pick up an extremely low-time egg then sometimes I'll use a few other sites just to be safe. Some other sites:

DragHatch http://dc.evinext.com/
Silvi's Lair http://lair.silverdrak.de/index.php
Pet Hatchery http://www.pethatchery.co.uk/index.php
The Hatching Club http://hatching.club/index.php
Valley Sherwood http://valleysherwood.com/
Eggs Around the World http://eatw.net/scroll.html
Egg Drop Soup http://greg-kennedy.com/dragcave/
Dragon Cave Mansion http://dcm.abanix.com/index.php/er
Dragon Breeders Cave http://dragonbreederscave.com/index.php

DDF gets enough views on it's own to hatch/grow, but I like to use DDF+TAND to get things done in the minimum amount of time. If you use those two + another/others then your eggs get too many views too fast and wind up with egg/hatchling sickness.

Anyhoo, I'll fish around here for a few more days and see if we have any other users then see about getting an "official" views/egg(or)hatchling trade thread going.

I've never played it before, but it looks intriguing and much less time intensive than Howrse. :)

Hey Everyone! The Valentines egg breeding season has started. If you are still collecting or planning to collect don't forget to check the abandoned egg pile for the past year rare breeds! (or breed from your own brood!)

So you guys convinced me. I made an account: http://dragcave.net/user/Jedikitten

Still not 100% on what all I'm supposed to do with the eggs, but I can't wait for them to hatch!

Yay Jedi!

It's mostly just a 'collect em' all' set up. You want to collect an egg, hatch it, and then grow it into an adult. You do that by getting the egg clicks/views. That can be done by sharing your scroll with someone, linking the eggs/hatchlings bbcodes on a forum, or by adding your scroll to one of the sites below. If your egg/hatchling doesn't get enough views in a certain amount of time it'll die. If it gets too many views too fast it'll get sick. I'd only use 2 of the sites below at a time to avoid sickness. If your egg is low on time you might add it to a third to get it more views quicker so it doesn't run out of time.

Hope that helps :) Good luck!

I think since a few people are into Dragon Cave that I will create a post with some helpful links where we can share our eggs/hatchlings for view help and whatnot. After I get through finals today of course :P

I have extra Xenowyrm eggs hatchlings available if anyone would like one. Xeno's are rare. Not really looking for anything in particular for trade, though another rare/very uncommon would be nice, it really doesn't matter :P

Will come with views; Can trade with enough views to hatch grow successfully if needed.

Thalassa Xenowyrm x1 (hatchling) **rare**

Species Info: http://dragcave.wikia.com/wiki/Thalassa_Xenowyrm
*only available for 2 more days

Astrapi Xenowyrm x2 (hatchling) **rare**

In addition to the above I also have...

Astrapi Xenowyrm x2 (eggs) **rare**

ImageImage
Species Info: http://dragcave.wikia.com/wiki/Astrapi_Xenowyrm
*only available for 1 more days
Nothing in particular required in trade.

Avatar of Destruction x1 (egg) **extremely rare**
Image
Species Info: http://dragcave.wikia.com/wiki/Avatar_of_Destruction
(currently fogged because it was getting too many views)
Will only trade for Avatar of Creation or Avatar of Change.

Avatars are listed as "uncommon" however they take a great deal of work to create. You must first collect the "Legendary Trio" (http://dragcave.wikia.com/wiki/Legendary_Trio). Next you have to successfully use their summon ability to summon a Guardian of Nature (http://dragcave.wikia.com/wiki/Guardians_of_Nature) egg and raise it; the summon doesn't always work and it has a lengthy cool down. Next you must successfully breed a Guardian of Nature to the correct change-aligned species dragon to create each specific avatar.

As always; the eggs can be traded with more than enough views to hatch and grow if you need help with that.
