sad real life pet mommy

Post by Windedwolf81 » June 22nd, 2015, 10:17 pm

So things have been not so good for one of my little cats. She is 7 and has been coughing alot. after a few trips to my reg vet they sent me to a specialist. today they did exploration and found two masses. We could possibly be looking at lung cancer. So hard i just lost my mother in january from dementia. she was only 51. i don't want to lose my baby too.

send good thoughts my way please.

Thinking about you! My two 'baby' kitties are 10 and 11 years old. I can't imagine. I lost another about 5 or 6 years ago, we didn't know she was sick until it was too late. Hopefully you're catching it in time. ((HUGS))

I can't better Piwa's thoughts. You have had some hard things happen and you have all my internet hugs, rainbows and sparkly unicorns (oh and Piwa's pixie dust) to make you feel just a little better.

Well some sad news. My cat Stormy does have lung cancer. The masses have grown at a fast rate the last month and half. they didn't respond to antibiotics so the specialist thinks the cancer is to deep inside the lungs to get a good sample. So my husband and I have decided to just give her meds for now to keep her comfortable and when it seems she is suffering i will have to let her go.
