Forum Updates Hello Everyone!
I've been busy updating the forum, Discord, the events, and planning out some more projects for A3 later this year. I wanted to take a moment to recap everything so that we are all up to date and on the same page together. There is also a poll at the bottom for you to complete. The process for joining the community has been simplified. For a while, we have been testing the invite process for A3b using the Guild Finder tool in-game. We've liked how this has gone, so we are now using the same process for both guilds! Going forward, new members will be instructed to create a character for both guilds. I encourage everyone to look over the new steps if they have time, just in case you find any wayward newbies searching for help: viewtopic.php?f=17&t=31 . This post is now a global announcement.
New members will now be receiving a special welcome kit. This kit will include everything they need to get started with adopting and donating pets, plus some fun random items. We even have homemade cookies!
The "Getting Started" post has been updated to be an "Important Reads" post. If you ever can't find something important, chances are it's linked here: viewtopic.php?f=74&t=2127
We brought back the site sliders. These will change periodically. It's been a while since we used them, and we like them very much.

A few sections have been shifted around. You will find new links that were in the forum (i.e. Xu-Fu's and WCP articles) now on the right-hand menu. The newsletter is now up in the top section. Announcements has been removed as we use the newsletter for this.
The games section is fairly inactive and scheduled to be retired. Our favorites have been moved to the Discord Games section though!
The photo of the week in the newsletter is now a monthly recap. DISCORD
The Horde and Alliance channels had gone unused since they were created, so they have been retired.
We've added a #new-member channel for new applicants to notify us when they are ready to join our guilds in-game (optional step).
We've moved our favorite games from the retired Games forum section to Discord. Please join us for #level-that-pet, #name-that-pet, #pokemon-go-cps and #hurt-and-heal. EVENT
Classy Levelers We were able to free up a total of 7 character slots of new levelers to take over. These characters have seen been claimed and updated on both the MAY participation sheet and the SIGNUP sheet.
The spreadsheets have been removed from Discord and are now only located in the event post. We have found an issue with too many folks skipping straight to the spreadsheets and ignoring the important information in the event post.
Direct message Jedikitten if you have any issue with the sheets or your characters.
Even if you are already participating in the event, we strongly encourage you to re-read the event post. Event (And Other!) Donation Drive - 2021 Year Long! PHA7-YNX has been added to the donation list.
When donating pets, please take a moment to notify Wakamaru. Since donations are sporadic/random, this will help ensure they are collected in a timely manner. You can do this by replying to the event thread, sending a PM on the forum, sending a DM in Discord or posting in the #support channel on Discord.

The Treasure Hunt is On! Xu-Fu's Pet Guides is hosting a great game and giveaway of their own! You can participate in the leaderboard portion of the competition to win some epic prizes or you can collect raffle tickets and enter to earn some great battle pets!
