It's time to fasten your seat belts everyone. By the time next maintenance is done everything will have changed. We'll have our new wardrobe, classes to relearn, and absolute chaos to deal with as we slowly clear our bags out for prompt refilling the moment Legion
There are a few important things to remember, the pre-expansion patch is not going to be immediately active, nor are demon hunters. Blizzard are giving us all some time to come to terms with the changes before throwing us in the deep end. With massive changes to the Garrison, look carefully at what you have and whether or not you can make money from it. Not everything will be irrelevant and Sumptuous Fur for Hexweave Bags will be able to make money all through Legion
due to the lack of a bag upgrade.
I hope you all have a good time with the changes!
Legion is rapidly approaching and along with it will come many changes. There are some change we would like to re-remind everyone of so that you can take advantage of things now!
Certain pets will likely become much more difficult to locate or obtain. The http://www.wowhead.com/npc=88413/crimsonwing-moth
from Talador and the http://www.wowhead.com/npc=88356/sapphire-firefly
from Spires of Arak are limit 1-per-zone wild pets. They can be somewhat aggravating to track down currently, but will be much harder to find when dealing with cross-realm zoning (CRZ). If you need help locating either of these two pets, A3 can help! Wakamaru
finds them by the truck load for people every Sunday and Vivienne
can help through A3's Wild Pet Capture Service
- you just need to ask!
In the WoD 6.2.1 patch three new magic pets were added: http://www.wowhead.com/npc=98237/empowered-manafiend
, and http://www.wowhead.com/npc=98236/energized-manafiend
. These pets drop from rare spawns http://www.wowhead.com/npc=98199/pugg
, and http://www.wowhead.com/npc=98198/rukdug
in Nagrand. They are personal loot items, have around a 10% drop chance, and you have one chance per day for them to drop. You may want to start trying to farm them now if you don't already have them. These rares can be soloed with some effort and are in an area accessible only by flying mount. If you haven't earned http://www.wowhead.com/achievement=1001 ... pathfinder
yet, you can post in the A3 community forums to find someone to give you a lift. Park a character in the area and check back daily.
When the WoD zones become CRZ zones there are several rare mounts which will become even tougher to locate. Be on the lookout for these now! Most of these rares can be soloed. The rares that drop mounts are: http://www.wowhead.com/npc=50883/pathrunner
in Shadowmoon Valley (http://www.wowhead.com/item=116773/swift-breezestrider
in Frostfire Ridge (http://www.wowhead.com/item=116674/great-greytusk
in Gorgrond (http://www.wowhead.com/item=116792/sunhide-gronnling
in Talador (http://www.wowhead.com/item=116767/sapphire-riverbeast
in Nagrand (http://www.wowhead.com/item=116661/mott ... dowstomper
), and http://www.wowhead.com/npc=50990/nakk-the-thunderer
), also in Nagrand. http://www.wowhead.com/npc=81001/nok-karosh
in Frostfire Ridge drops the BoE http://www.wowhead.com/item=116794/garn-nighthowl
mount, but you’ll need help killing this rare.
Last, but not least, the http://www.wowhead.com/item=121815/void ... -dark-star
mount is obtained from http://www.wowhead.com/zone=7519/edge-of-reality
portals scattered around Draenor. These portals have multiple spawn locations per zone and last for around 5 minutes once they spawn. IF no one uses the portal, after the 5 minutes it will despawn and respawn elsewhere after 1 hour. The respawn timer after a portal is used is a minimum of 13 hours. Again – realm hopping is your friend with this one!
