Helping Topper McNabb
Topper McNabb is a beggar, and former farmer, in Stormwind City. Alliance members especially will recognize him as he has been begging for as long as the game as been around. Recently players have reached out to Blizzard wanting to know: How can we help Topper McNabb?

Warcraft Community Manager Ornyx chimed into the conversation saying, "We've been making sure he has a nice meal every now and then."

Other posters are wanting a way to interact with McNabb and give him some spare change so he can finally prosper in the World of Warcraft. You can read and participate the topic here.

A3 would like to know:

What would you do to help Topper McNabb?

Cannot Delete Demon Hunter
We are aware that players have desires to delete Demon Hunters they have created without completing the starting experience just to retrieve their mail. We've been looking into possible solutions for this, but have not made any final decision just yet.

I will keep you guys updated with any news related to this as it comes to me!

Edit: We are working on a hotfix for this.

Warlords Season 3 PvP Disqualifications
As part of our ongoing commitment to maintaining the integrity of Arena and Rated Battleground ladders, we’ve been scouring the ladders regularly for players who engage in win-trading, boosting, and other such harmful activities. Historically, disqualifications have only taken place once a season has concluded, but we’ve been performing these investigations throughout Warlords Season 3.

As a result, we’ve identified a number of accounts—over 6,000 in total throughout the season—that had engaged in such behavior. These players were explicitly and purposefully disrupting the rated ladders in an attempt to gain or provide other players an unfair advantage and/or rewards that they didn’t deserve. As a result, the accounts that were identified as benefiting from these actions, as well as the accounts of the players who performed them, have been disqualified from earning rewards in Warlords Season 3.

Among the most recently affected players were some from teams that had qualified for our upcoming Road to BlizzCon 2016 regional tournaments. Following a thorough investigation of these accounts, these players are also disqualified—and as stated in the official tournament rules (NA, EU), these players are now ineligible to continue competing in this year’s Road to BlizzCon. Affected teams will be contacted by Blizzard and allowed to use their one roster swap (if available) to bring in another player so that they can continue competing. Should a team be unable to maintain a roster of at least three players, they will be disqualified and replaced with the runner-up team from the same qualifier cup.

We are committed to upholding the integrity and competitive nature of our ladders. We’re looking forward to a truly epic Road to BlizzCon, and can’t wait to see how things progress into Regionals and the Legion expansion.

PvP Stat Templates and Spell Multipliers
One of the exciting things for PvP in Legion is all of the extra PvP specific tuning functionality we've added to the game. A lot of this is new technology to WoW so we've been working out the kinks as we approach beta. Unfortunately, one of the parts of the system we weren't able to get implemented in time for Legion was a way to make these values transparent to you in-game. It's something we're working on, but felt getting behind-the-scenes functionality out for launch was very important.

We'd like to share a lot of the tuning values with you here to help you understand what adjustments have been made. We're certainly open to feedback and refinement of these values.

To get started, every character entering a PvP instance has a base template of stats that is scaled to a target item level. For simplicity sake, we're going to focus here on level 110 values which budget players at item level 850. Based on our experience in beta, we felt the ratio of damage to health was a bit high, so this set of stats has a bit less primary stat and a bit more stamina that someone would in 850 gear.

Primary Stat (Agility, Intellect, Strength): 11475
Secondary Stat (Mastery, Critical Strike, Haste, Versatility): 4079
Stamina: 22000

For each spec, these stats are adjusted up or down by a multiplier that defaults to 1.0 (or 100%). For example, casters (like mages and warlocks) and healers do not benefit from the damage values on their weapons, so additional primary stat is budgeted on weapons throughout the game. Accordingly, all caster classes have a primary stat multiplier of 1.55 in PvP. This represents a 55% increase in Intellect for these specs.

We also have a blanket "Mod Damage Done" aura on all of the PvP templates for when we want to reduce damage but not primary stat. Healers are the best application of this aura. We may want to buff a Restoration Shaman's healing output, but we don't want their lava bursts to hit like trucks. Currently, all healers have a 25% reduction in damage against other players. Discipline Priests are the only exception as doing damage is part of how they heal.

Also, for individual spells, we can increase or decrease their effect while in PvP combat. This includes PvP instances like battlegrounds and arenas, but also World PvP and duels. If we want to decrease the amount of healing that Death Strike does in PvP by half, we set the PvP multiplier of that effect to 0.5. Desvin

Wild Pet Capture Service
Above all else... A3 loves collecting pets! Collection doesn't just stop at pets that can be traded and adopted though - there are a few worlds' worth of wild pets out there waiting for collectors, too! A few of us would like to offer our love of hunting wild pets to A3 members to help them also round out their wild pet needs.

Each week (sometimes a few times each week!) we will comb zones to help members find the wild pets they are still after. We will turn a zone upside-down and inside-out looking for your pet(s) and message you once we've found them. You will then come and capture it!

There are both Horde and Alliance hunters on standby to help with the pet search, so both factions are welcome.

Adoptions
Do you want to help supply pets for adoption that A3 needs? We have a Pet Suppliers thread where members can sign up to sponsor certain pets they are willing to supply. When the supply of certain pets starts to run low or we have an upcoming project where we’ll need more of a certain pet – we’ll send out a notification about that pet to our suppliers! There is no guess work and no 24/7 farming because we’ll let you know when we’re in need of the pets.

There are no quotas to meet when supplying the pets that you signed up for. You can provide whatever amount you are comfortable with.

New supply options were added on March 6th.

For more information about the Pet Supplier project click here.
