Hello,
Readers.

Patch 7.3 is nearly upon us, and with it comes a raft of new achievements, pets, tamers and much more. With this, it is likely some of you are starting to run low on space for pets. If you don't have it already, the Pocket Pet Portal is an item that raises your pet cap to 1500. It is obtainable through the Battle on the Broken Isles achievement. A3 posts which pet tamers are up each day on our Discord channel, as well as tweeting it out from @A3Pets. Please be aware Broken Shores tamers do not count for this achievement.

Alongside this influx of new pets to try for, the Adoption Agency is starting to see more Legion pets being donated.

Importantly, for those of you requesting pets you are actively farming, we would like to remind you that you can ask to change any request post you make if you obtain a pet you are requesting. This can be done by clicking the Report button (the exclamation mark icon) at the top right of your post. Pets cannot be added to your request list.

I hope you all have a good week.

Piwakawaka.

The entire purpose of the Azeroth Adoption Agency (A3) community is for members to help one another.
Many members donate their pets, some members donate their time, and some members donate financially to help the agency function. Donations cover the costs of running the A3 network and sometimes even fund special giveaways and prizes.

Recently two new supporters have pledged patronage to A3 through our Patreon account!

XuFu's Collection Export
@Aranesh from the XuFu's Pet Battle Strategies has recently added a new feature to the Pet Collection Viewer Tool: Export to Excel. When you visit the XuFu's site, navigate to the Tools > XuFu's Pet Collection Viewer tool.
Once there, enter your Character and Server information and click Import Pets. From this page you will be able to find the new feature near the top right of the collection information. Click on Export to Excel will generate a .xlsx download file containing status information about all of the pets in (or not in) your collection!

Image

Image
When you open the excel file you will find:
  •   Wowhead links to all pets
The current level of all pets
The current quality of all pets
      Owned breeds
      Family type
      Duplicate pet information
Wether the pets can be caged or not
If you have collected the pet or not
There is also some handy color coding! Duplicate pets are highlighted in a yellowish color and unowned pets are highlighted in a red color. The files can be sorted and edited as you see fit! There is a lot of potential for these Excel sheets to prove really useful collectors.

If you don't have Microsoft Excel, the Export to Excel function also works for free programs such as OpenOffice.

Head over to XuFu's and check out the new feature!

World of Warcraft Support for Windows XP and Vista Ending Soon

As we previously announced, we will be ending support for Windows XP and Windows Vista for several Blizzard games. For World of Warcraft, we’re ending support for these operating systems in October.

Microsoft ended mainstream support for these versions of Windows in 2009 and 2012, respectively, but since a segment of our audience was still using them at the time, we continued to support them. Now that there have been three major Windows releases since Vista’s release and a clear majority of our audience has upgraded to one of the newer versions of Windows, we are ready to make this change.

After this time, Windows XP and Vista will not be supported and World of Warcraft will not run on them. We encourage any players who are still using one of these older operating systems to upgrade to a newer version prior to this date to continue playing.

Connecting A3ers through Discord
Image
A3 is always looking for new and interesting ways to connect with its members. One of our greatest hurdles, though, is connecting members to each other. With everyone playing on different servers, different factions, and the limitations of the friends list – many of you have probably never had a chance to connect. We hope to use the Discord App to help solve that!

The major perk of an app like Discord is that communication is live. Meaning – you can see it on the fly (assuming you are logged in). This will be an advantage over the forum or twitter where you need to check in throughout the day. It will be especially helpful with organizing groups, sharing rare spawn information with others, or just getting to know your fellow A3ers!

Help Support A3
Did you know that A3 has bills? It’s true! A3 has monthly and yearly bills related to the cost of operating the Agency. Operating costs are the costs required to run the community – these do not include the costs of sponsoring giveaways.

A3 is a volunteer operated project and we need the help of our members to keep the site online. Currently, about 4% of our members contribute to the to these operating costs and around 1% have contributed more than once.

A few spare dollars here and there can go a long way! Donations are accepted through PayPal and Patreon.
For more information about donating financially please visit our Supporter's Page.
