If Your Pet Is Missing Or You Need To Make A Change To Your Request

Post by Wakamaru » April 14th, 2015, 12:03 pm

UPDATING YOUR REQUESTS We understand that there will be times where you need an adoption request edited. This is appropriate to do when:
  • You accidentally add a pet to your request that you already own.
  • You request a pet and then obtain it on your own before the request is filled.
To make changes to your requests:
  1. Locate the request you wish to change.
  2. Locate the 'Report this post' button. This is the button to the top right of each post/reply with the exclamation mark on it.
  3. Find the 'Reason' drop-down menu and select 'I need to remove a pet from my request'.
  4. In the 'Further Information' field let us know which pet(s) you want removed and why.
  5. Please tell us what changes you wish to make.
In addition to this you may also use the report method to correct any misinformation (such as wrong tab #).

You may not add additional pets to your request.

To report a pet not received
First, check your adoption request and look for an adoption response in the post from an admin. If you find a template that says your pet has been sent, but you haven't received it, do the following: Remember that pets are COD'd for 1 copper so that they are auto-returned after 2 days. This is done 3 times in a row for a total of 6 days. If you haven't picked up your pet after 6 days it's returned to the adoption tab for someone else to adopt.

If this happens to you, you can re-request the pet in a future adoption post.
