Hello, Readers.

With the recent influx of news regarding the Battle for Azeroth expansion, we decided to do a round-up of some of the interviews that have been coming out from the Blizzard Media Day. This is by no means a comprehensive list; a large number of interviews with the same devs end up covering the same ground. However, we also have linked to MMO Champion's more comprehensive round-up, complete with bullet points of the highlights in case you don't want to watch each of the individual interviews.

If nothing else, I highly recommend watching Hazelnutty's interview with Jeremy Feasel and Frank Kowalkowski, since it gives the most information in regards to pet battles.

Have a good week.

NOBLEGARDEN DONATION DRIVE
Image

The Noblegarden has begun in WoW and so has A3's Donation Drive for some Noblegarden and other spring and easter-y pets! Noblegarden donation drive pets include: Noblegarden Bunny. The A3 Donation Drive also includes a bunch of non-event spring-themed pets so that members can participate if they don't have the best of luck with RNG. Check out the information post for a full list. Tiers for this donation drive are 0, 15, and 30.

Wild Pet Capture Service
Above all else... A3 loves collecting pets! Collection doesn't just stop at pets that can be traded and adopted though - there are a few worlds' worth of wild pets out there waiting for collectors, too! A few of us would like to offer our love of hunting wild pets to A3 members to help them also round out their wild pet needs.

Each week (sometimes a few times each week!) we will comb zones to help members find the wild pets they are still after. We will turn a zone upside-down and inside-out looking for your pet(s) and message you once we've found them. You will then come and capture it! If you would like to take advantage of this service, but aren't available during our typical times, please don't hesitate to contact us and ask about alternative days and times.

Specifications Allowed

✔ Both Factions
✔ All Zones
✔ All Pets
✔ Any Quality
✔ Any Breed
✔ Any Specifics (color, size, etc.)

Pet Suppliers
Do you want to help supply pets for adoption that A3 needs? We have a Pet Suppliers thread where members can sign up to sponsor certain pets they are willing to supply. When the supply of certain pets starts to run low or we have an upcoming project where we’ll need more of a certain pet – we’ll send out a notification about that pet to our suppliers! There is no guess work and no 24/7 farming because we’ll let you know when we’re in need of the pets.

There are no quotas to meet when supplying the pets that you signed up for. You can provide whatever amount you are comfortable with.

New supply options were recently added! New options include common vendor and non-Legion pets.
There are 100's of supply options available, but below you will find the newest options added to the supply request sign-up sheet. These options are especially in need of suppliers right now.

Please note that the sign-up sheet is organized according to which expansion each pet was introduced in, not the expansion "zone" that they are found in.

Whether entering a one-time competition or requesting your weekly pets, please remember these essential tips so your requests and entries aren't disqualified.

  •   Remember to keep an active level 20+ character attached to your site profile. It is a good idea to log in to this character before posting adoption requests to refresh your armory information.

Please remember to check what pets you have before submitting requests! Add-ons don't always display things accurately.

Please remember to report your request list if you acquire a pet you have requested. We've modified our system so that even if your post has already been flagged you can still report and make changes.

Battle for Azeroth Roundup
Release Date

A new age of warfare between the Horde and the Alliance is here. Declare your allegiance in World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth beginning August 14. As rivalries of the past arise once more, a powerful new resource emerges—and whoever lays claim to it could shape the future of all who make Azeroth their home.

Azeroth paid a terrible price to end the apocalyptic march of the Legion’s crusade—but even as the world’s wounds are tended, it is the shattered trust between the Alliance and Horde that may prove hardest to mend. As this age-old conflict reignites, join your allies and champion your faction’s cause—Azeroth’s future will be forged in fire.

See the full announcement here.

Collector's Edition

While Azeroth bleeds, the armies of the Horde and Alliance meet again on the fields of battle. Prepare for all-out war with this limited edition collector’s set, featuring rare and commemorative items to boost morale for the coming conflict. You can see what is in the Collector's Edition here.

You can also check out excerpts from the novellas here. These will be available digitally later this year, however the Collector's Edition is the only way to obtain the hardback version.

Upgrading from Standard or Digital Deluxe to Collector’s Edition

If you’ve purchased a digital copy of Battle for Azeroth, but want to upgrade to the Collector’s Edition, we will automatically credit you the cost of the digital copy in Blizzard Balance - as long as you enter the Collector’s Edition key before 11:59pm PST on December 31, 2018. When you enter the key from your Collector’s Edition, we will see the original transaction on your account and the credit will kick in. Remember, you will need to enter the Collector’s Edition key before the end of the year, as automatic Blizzard Balance credits will be turned off at 11:59pm PST on December 31, 2018.

Please note, if you bought a standard edition then upgraded to a digital deluxe, you will be credited for the original copy only.
Standard Digital / Digital Deluxe > Collector’s Edition

If you bought the Standard OR Digital Deluxe copy of Battle for Azeroth and pre-ordered the Collector’s Edition, your Blizzard Balance credit will be the price you paid for the original copy.
Standard Digital > Digital Deluxe > Collector’s Edition

If you bought the Standard digital copy, upgraded to Digital Deluxe at a later date, then pre-ordered the Collector’s Edition of Battle for Azeroth, your Blizzard Balance credit will be the price you paid for the original Standard Edition.

Connecting A3ers through Discord
Image
A3 is always looking for new and interesting ways to connect with its members. One of our greatest hurdles, though, is connecting members to each other. With everyone playing on different servers, different factions, and the limitations of the friends list – many of you have probably never had a chance to connect. We hope to use the Discord App to help solve that!

The major perk of an app like Discord is that communication is live. Meaning – you can see it on the fly (assuming you are logged in). This will be an advantage over the forum or twitter where you need to check in throughout the day. It will be especially helpful with organizing groups, sharing rare spawn information with others, or just getting to know your fellow A3ers!

Did you know that A3 has bills? It’s true! A3 has monthly and yearly bills related to the cost of operating the Agency. Operating costs are the costs required to run the community – these do not include the costs of sponsoring giveaways.

A3 is a volunteer operated project and we need the help of our members to keep the site online. Currently, about 4% of our members contribute to the to these operating costs and around 1% have contributed more than once.

A few spare dollars here and there can go a long way! Donations are accepted through PayPal and Patreon.
